CTST (formerly CardTech SecurTech) is the largest event in the Americas dedicated to advanced payment, access control and identification technology, attracting over 2,500 attendees annually.

SConnect was presented at CTST in a panel on Emerging Software Innovation on 13th of May 2008.

Gemalto Technology and Innovation presented a Google TechTalk titled "Security's Once and Future King" at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, CA. It's an inviting journey, looking back at the technologies that were used in the smart card industry and moving forward to the next generation of smart card applications leveraging the web platform.

On Monday 12th November, 2007, ten innovations were rewarded during the Sesames Awards Ceremony at the Pavillon Gabriel (Paris).

In the presence of more than 400 guests, Sophie LUBET - CARTES & IDentification Show Manager and Andrew ROWE - Card Technology Publisher, opened the ceremony of the industry.
